Getting the Kitchen they always wanted was of paramount importance to Mr & Mrs T. Having worked worked away for many years and living in rented property they could finally have their own kitchen when they settled in Durham. The Kitchen is light and roomy with everything in it that they need. The Neff oven is at a great working height and the Neff induction hob is large enough to cope with busy mealtimes. The Doors are a Porcelain Shaker and the Island is in Cashmere to provide a little contrast. The customer made a fantastic job of laying the floor in a Herringbone pattern and this adds to the quality feel of the whole room. The real highlight of this Kitchen though is the Corian White Onyx Work-surface. It’s inherent properties made it ideal for this installation as the Kitchen is on the second floor. It was made in four parts but this isn’t obvious as the joints are near invisible. Another Corian feature is the Coved Up-Stands which seamlessly flow up the wall in one piece with no silicone sealant needed. The Onyx range has a beautiful translucent and randomly veined appearance. It’s a Gem.
