Adding an extension gave Mr & Mrs N from Teal Farm a large space for their new kitchen, but their wish-list was also large. As the new space was a large rectangle it limited wall space for the American Fridge Freezer and bank of tall unit that were on the wish-list. We overcame this by showing how adding a partition wall doubled the usable wall space. On one side of it lives the American Fridge Freezer and tall storage, the other side houses the Oven units and even more storage. It also provides a corridor into the Utility room hiding it out of the main view. Working alongside Alan Cameron Builders (Who did a superb job with the roof lantern and folding doors) we installed underfloor ducting for the Neff Venting Hob as directly above is the roof lantern which provides superb natural light. An Iroko capped seating area at the end of the large island provides ample seating for all the family. A pop-up socket gives easy access for appliances and charging needs and the knee space is under-lit, adding interest and warmth.
